School Readiness Program

Helping build the foundations needed prior to starting kindergarten
School Readiness with Love2Learn

At Love2Learn Tutoring, we have a fantastic and innovative School Readiness Program that runs from Term 1 to Term 4 of each year in preparation for the lead-up to starting Kindergarten. Our School Readiness Program aims to support the development of confidence and independence for our young learners in their early stages of development. We help build the foundations for the young to learn before kindergarten. We welcome 3.5-5 year old students and organise groups based on when they’re starting Kindergarten.

Our L2L program uses a range of curriculum aligned resources to help children be introduced to content areas that will be taught throughout their first year of school. Our lessons include tactile and visual learning as we believe our young learners learn best through visual aids. With a maximum of 10 students per session this allows the students to receive small group support to better equip them for their first year of school.

Parents will receive consistent feedback throughout the duration of the Children’s sessions from our friendly and qualified Educators. This will ensure that Children are on the right path in being set and ready for ‘big school’.

Program's Core Components:
Recognising numbers from 1 to 10, in and out of sequence. Counting from 1 to 20. Learning to add and subtract single digit numbers.
Recognising letters of the alphabet. Both in and out of order.
Introducing single sounds and the beginning sounds of words.
Specifically focusing on hand-eye coordination and pencil grip.
