Learning to interact in various social settings is an important skill, but it’s not something that comes naturally to everyone, especially those with language, speech difficulties or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Social Minds provides Social Skills support for kids, teens & young adults who experience social challenges. We help individuals by providing skills and strategies to help them feel confident when navigating their social world and building a stronger sense of self to achieve their individualised goals.
Our focus is on ensuring kids, teens & young adults with learning or behavioural difficulties aren’t disadvantaged from thriving socially. With a multidisciplinary approach, our programs combine evidence-based practices and a flexible approach where we modify our programs to suit each individual enrolled with us. We collaborate closely with schools, early childhood settings, professionals and parents/carers to help children, teens & young adults with learning disabilities and difficulties delve into their social minds to be the best version of themselves. As a result, our participants learn social skills in a safe and supportive environment, which they can take to the real world.
Social Minds strives to provide a specialised social skills service focused on boosting our learners’ confidence whilst making it a fun experience. Our dynamic team works collaboratively to ensure that our participants learn great long-term strategies to help them navigate their social world and strategies that work for them.
